Anadolu Isuzu, which produces buses upon the license of Japan’s Isuzu in Turkey, will establish the production of trucks together with the Czech company Tatra, said a message posted Dec. 14 on the website of Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform (Kamuoyunu Aydinlatma Platformu – KAP).

According to the message, an agreement was signed between Anadolu Isuzu and Tatra to implement the project.

"The agreement on joint production of trucks was signed for a period of five years," the message said. "The trucks produced in Turkey will be sold in the local market."

According to the message, a new model of Czech trucks will be produced in Turkey. New chassis to be supplied by Tatra from the Czech Republic will be used in truck assembly.
