Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has launched the next stage of overhaul work of the Baku-Boyuk Kasik railway, the press service of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC said in a statement Feb. 7.
The overhaul of the 8.6-km Dallar-Shamkir section began on Feb. 7.
The reconstruction work is expected to last one week.
Implementation of the project to overhaul the 600-km Baku-Boyuk Kasik railway started in October 2015.
To date, 450 kilometers of the railway have been overhauled.
