Azerbaijan's Trade House will begin operating in Latvia in the near future, a source in the Azerbaijani government told Trend on March 5.
Presently, the products of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are being presented in Riga, where the trade house will function, the source said.
"The work on organization of the Trade House in Riga has already been completed. The official opening of the Trade House will be held in the near future," the source said.
The Trade House will support promotion of Azerbaijani products under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand in Latvia, marketing research, participation in exhibitions and other activities related to promotion of Azerbaijani goods.
Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Latvia amounted to $15.06 million in 2017, which is 1.7 times more than in 2016, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
