Kazakh National Fund sees funds inflow increase

The funds inflow into the Kazakhstan National Fund for the period of January-May (2018) has increased by one trillion tenge, making 1.3 trillion tenge, Kazakh media reported.

The figure is about a trillion tenge more, compared to the same period of 2017.

The primary source of income is the direct taxation of the country's oil industry business – 1.27 trillion tenge, or 98.7 percent of all inflows. Within one year, the inflow from the oil industry increased by 32.1 percent.

The second important income - complete refund of transfers from the state budget, the sum of which is 8.4 billion tenge (previous year – 9.1 billion tenge).

Also, the National Fund received 7.9 billion tenge from the privatization of government properties in the mining and processing industries.

The fund did not receive any income from the investment department of the National bank of Kazakhstan, which is still better than the statistics of the previous year.

The National Fund's resources for the end of May, 2018, made 23.1 trillion tenge, which is 1,1 percent more than the previous year. Within one year, the fund decreased the utilization of its resources by 10.1 percent – from 1.2 to 1.08 trillion tenge.
