Uzbekistan to launch assembly of Russian bulldozers

Russia's tractor and special equipment manufacturer Promtractor (Chetra brand) plans to launch the assembly of its products in Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reported.
The planned production capacity will be at least 24 units of equipment per year. Those will be bulldozers with 150-590 horsepower engines, pipelayers with a carrying capacity from 25 to 100 tons. Negotiations on arrangement of production are underway with potential companies.
The organization of production of the Chetra industrial equipment in Uzbekistan will allow not only to expand the company's presence in the region, but also develop the export of its products to neighboring countries, such as Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. It will additionally allow to adapt the design of the assembled equipment to the special requirements of customers, as well as to provide consumers with 24/7 technical support and spare parts.
Creation of production will allow developing the export potential of Uzbekistan thanks to the export of the assembled equipment to neighboring countries.
