Number of licensed industrial projects increases in Iran’s Yazd province

During the first seven months of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), the number of the licensed industrial projects has increased by more than 22 percent, Shata cited Mohammad Reza Alamdar Yazdi, Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Iran’s Yazd province, as saying.

He said that during the first seven months of this Iranian year, 147 licenses were issued for the industrial projects of the province, which is 22 percent more than in the same period of last year.

Yazdi added that the investments worth 6.08 trillion rials (about $144.7 million) were made in licensed projects.

During the first seven months of this Iranian year, jobs were created for 2,281 people, which is by 5.19 percent more compared to the same period of last year, he said.

Yazdi said that the licenses were issued for the implementation of 868 projects during seven months of this Iranian year, which is by 4.6 percent more than in the same period of last year.

Investments worth 35.16 trillion rials (about $837.2 million) were made in the projects which are planned to be implemented and jobs were created for more than 13,944 people, he said.
