Aluminum production in Iran has increased 3.2 percent during the eight months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing Shata news agency.
The Iranian Aluminum Company (IRALCO), Almahdi Aluminum Company and Hormozgan Aluminum Company (Hormozal) produced 231,031 tons of aluminum during eight months, compared to 223,877 tons in the same period last year.
IRALCO produced 117,667 tons of aluminum, Hormozal produced 69,074 tons and Almahdi Aluminum Company produced 44,290 tons of aluminum.
This is while Iran Alumina Company produced 485,559 tons of bauxite, 159,024 tons of oxide aluminum, 270,649 tons of hydroxide aluminum and 88,776 tons of sulfate aluminum in the eight months.
During November, more than 22,398 tons of aluminum, 43,760 tons of bauxite, 19,509 tons of oxide aluminum, 33,166 tons of hydroxide aluminum and 7,778 tons of sulfate aluminum were produced.
