Trade office of Kazakhstan’s Akmola region to open in UAE

Farmers of Kazakhstan’s Akmola region will sell their products to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Trend reports via Kazakh media. The parties signed bilateral cooperation agreements.

The regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs informed that the UAE expresses its interest in Kazakhstan's flour, wheat, meat and milk. The trade office of Akmola region will soon be opened in this country in order to develop trade relations.

"Currently the Akmola region fully meets its need for eggs, so it is possible to export about 250-300 million eggs to the UAE," said Timur Nakhypbekov, Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Akmola region.

He added that it is also possible to export meat products, and that the UAE is very interested in Kazakh organic products.

İt should be noted that last year, the trade turnover of the Akmola region with the UAE increased by 61 percent compared to 2017. Today the region exports flour to the country.
