Azerbaijan's production and construction corporation Accord has commenced the final phase of the work for the installation of metal structures and the construction of buildings on the territory of the so-called “circle” of Baku’s 2nd micro-district, the company representatives told Trend.
According to the source, the company is executing an order made by an Iranian company.
"It was earlier planned to complete the work closer to the end of the year, but we assume we will wrap it up ahead of the deadlines. The work on the installation of metal structures and the construction may end in the second half of the year," the company representatives said.
Accord Corporation took an active part in the construction of road infrastructure in Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station and at the intersections of adjacent streets, designed by the Singaporean Surbana International Consultans PTC LTD company.
The construction of a road junction on Ziya Bunyadov Avenue is another large-scale project of the corporation. The implementation of the said project allowed for flow of traffic without traffic lights from the center of Baku to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, and from the airport towards the center of the capital along the Binagadi highway.
The corporation currently holds a leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, along with the construction of residential buildings and other public buildings and the production of building materials.
