Iranian exports via Incheh Borun up by over 120%

Export of goods via Incheh Borun border, located in Iran’s Golestan Province, has increased by 124 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), said Mohammad Reza Ghorbani, Director General of Northeast Railway of Iran, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Ghorbani said that up to 126,000 tons of products were exchanged with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia during the said period, 83,900 tons of which consisted of imports, 475 tons of transits and 42,700 tons of non-oil products.

Incheh Borun railway, located in Iran’s Golestan Province, is Iran’s gateway for trade with Central Asian states via Turkmenistan.

The international railroad was commissioned with the participation of Iranian, Turkmen and Kazakh heads of state in 2014.
