The incomes of the population of Azerbaijan amounted to 7.6 billion manats in January-February 2019, which is 5.1 percent more than the figures for the same period last year, Trend informs referring to a report by the State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, per capita income amounted to 772.2 manats (a 4.2-percent growth for the year).
After the completion of all payments, 6.95 billion manats (a 5.2-percent growth) or 704.5 manats per capita (a 4.3-percent growth) remained at the disposal of the population.
As of January 2019, the average wage in the country makes up 557.2 manats, which is 7.2 percent more than the same period last year.
In the oil sector, the average salary was 2995.8 manats, and 499.9 manats in the non-oil sector. In the public and private sectors, the average salary was 443.1 and 707.1 manats.
