The production volume of coal concentrate of Tabas and Markazi Alborz coal-mining companies, which are affiliated with the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), increased by more than eight percent last Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), Trend reports referring to IMIDRO’s website.
During the reporting period, coal concentrate extraction increased by 28 percent, IMIDRO said.
Last Iranian year, Tabas and Markazi Alborz coal-mining companies produced 732,000 tons of coal concentrate, which is 675,000 tons more than a year earlier. Some 633,000 tons of coal concentrate accounts for Tabas company, while 99,300 tons – for Markazi Alborz.
Last Iranian year, Tabas and Markazi Alborz coal-mining companies produced about 1.74 million tons of coal concentrate. This figure shows a 28 percent increase compared to the previous year (1.37 million tons).
Some 1.58 million tons of coal concentrate were extracted by Tabas company, while 160,000 tons of coal concentrate - by Markazi Alborz company.
Tabas and Markazi Alborz companies produced 69,600 tons of coal concentrate during the last month of last Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), IMIDRO said.
