Tehran, Iran, April 28

Trend:

Special Task Force to Combat US sanctions will soon be established in the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, said the Chairman of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

“Iranian private sector will circumvent the US sanctions. Accordingly, a special committee in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce will soon be set up to counter sanctions. Now, due to problems caused by US sanctions against the Iranian economy, we have to find ways to circumvent the sanctions by shifting Iran's foreign exchange earnings from one country to another, which certainly will increase the costs," he added.

He went on to say that Iran should launch the bartering system with its neighboring countries as soon as possible and import most of its needs directly from these countries.

“Traders of these countries are fully prepared to carry out this export in cooperation with the private sector of Iran,” he added. “The transit of goods from these countries is much easier and at a much lower cost."
