Number of cruise liners arrived at Turkish ports in January-June 2019 disclosed

In January-June 2019, 102 cruise liners arrived in Turkish ports, which is 18 liners more compared to January-June 2018, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

According to the ministry, Turkish ports did not receive cruise liners in January 2019, one cruise liner arrived at the ports in February, five liners arrived at the country's ports in March, 15 cruise liners arrived in April, 27 liners in May and 54 liners in June.

As noted, 87,140 passengers were transported to and from Turkey by cruise liners in January-June 2019, which is 13,762 passengers more compared to the same period last year.

In June 2019, 41,956 passengers were transported by cruise liners to and from Turkey.

In 2018, Turkey's ports received 247 cruise liners, which transported 213,700 passengers.
