In January-July 2019, the volume of industrial production (the volume of manufactured products and rendered industrial services) in Azerbaijan amounted to 27.3 billion manats, which is 2.2 percent more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
The non-oil sector of industry in Azerbaijan grew by 15.8 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 6.555 billion manats.
The private sector share in industry amounted to 82.8 percent.
The volume of production in the mining industry during the reported period amounted to 16.7 billion manats (an increase of 1.9 percent for a year).
During the reported period, Azerbaijan produced 22 million tons of oil, while natural gas production for consumption amounted to 20.3 billion cubic meters.
In January-July 2019, gas production in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent compared to January-July 2018, while oil production decreased by 2.3 percent.
During the reported period, the processing industry manufactured products worth 6.858 billion manats, which is 14.5 percent more than in January-July last year.
The share of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam in the total volume of industrial production accounted for 4.2 percent, while the share of water supply, treatment and waste processing was 0.7 percent.
