New Uzbek-Chinese plant launched in Namangan

A new Uzbek-Chinese pharmaceutical enterprise has been launched in the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The investment in the project amounted to $2.3 million.

The plant’s capacity is designed for 100,000 disposable syringes per year. In addition, the enterprise will annually produce up to 300,000 gynecological mirrors.

Two months ago, another pharmaceutical enterprise was opened in the region, namely a workshop for the production of eye drops, infusion and injection solutions was launched in the Namangan region.

Earlier, Trend reported that a large Uzbek-Chinese cement plant Namangan Jinmingyang Building Materials is being built in the Yangikurgan district of Namangan region. The commissioning of the enterprise is scheduled for the fourth quarter of next year.

The project cost of the plant is $105 million. The annual output will be 1.5 million tons of products.
