Uzbek airline to purchase three planes from Russia

The Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq has signed the so-called soft contract for leasing aircraft Superjet 100 of the Russian company Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

The agreement was signed following the results of the MAKS-2019 Aviation and Space Salon in the Russian region of Zhukovsky.

The enterprises of the United Aircraft Corporation have signed a number of agreements on the supply, promotion and after-sales service of aircraft on the Russian and international markets.

Qanot Sharq LLC is one of the first non-state airlines in Uzbekistan, which was established in 1998 and specializes in organizing international cargo and passenger air transportation.

Note that in August, the founder of the company, Nosir Abdugafarov, announced the intention of Qanot Sharq to launch a regional airline in Uzbekistan.
