Azerbaijani confectionery manufacturer to export products to Arab country

Orelay, an Azerbaijani confectionery manufacturer located in the country's Aghdash district, plans to initiate export to Arab countries, a source at the company told Trend.

According to the source, the company first plans to exports confectionery to Iraq.

"The company plans to export caramel, chocolates and gingerbread to the Iraqi market. Deliveries are planned in the amount of 150-200 tons of products by the end of this year. We also consider the Russian market as a potential export destination. We are currently looking for customers in the neighboring country," the source said.

The source also noted that the company produces over 10 types of confectionery.

"The company has already delivered products to neighboring Georgia. Caramel and chocolates accounted for the largest share of exports. In total, up to 10 tons of products were exported," the source said.

The products manufactured by Orelay have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.

The company uses German, Turkish and Austrian equipment.
