Uzbek Commodity Exchange publishes last week's trading results

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from September 23 to September 29, 2019, amounted to 1,003 trillion soums, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to 481.2 billion soums, with an increase of 7.9 percent compared to last week.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform amounted to 872.2 billion soums, which is 2.7 percent less than a week earlier.

At the foreign exchange trading platform, goods worth $399,000 were sold.

In particular, polyethylene of various grades was sold for $341,700 and industrial oil for $57,000.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to 33.7 billion soums.

The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 8.6 billion soums, or 25.6 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Transactions worth 95.5 billion soums were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement.

The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 20.5 billion soums.

During the period under review, 537 car license plates were sold through an online auction.

The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 2.4 billion soums.

As a result of competitive bidding, 21 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 46 percent of deals on category 2 and 33 percent on category 3 of license plates.
