Gazakh Cement Plant LLC, operating in Azerbaijan's Gazakh district, plans to increase its capacity through opening additional lines, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, it’s about opening the second production line at the enterprise.
“Currently, due to the first production line, 2,000 tons of clinker are produced daily. After the launch of the second line, a significant increase in the volume of construction products is expected; in particular, clinker production will increase up to 2,500 tons. In the past three months, the company produced 208,502 tons of cement and 271,793 tons of clinker. By the end of the year, it’s planned to increase the production of cement and clinker up to 30 percent. The enterprise’s current production volume is 1.2 million tons per year, and it is planned to bring this indicator to 1.5-1.6 million tons,” the source noted.
The source added that the clinker production increased by 10 percent in 2019 compared to 2018, and the volume of cement production exceeded 20 percent.
Gazakh Cement Plant LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan. Besides the cement, the enterprise produces concrete and clinker.
The construction of the plant began in 2007 in the village of Dash Salahli, Gazakh district. The production capacity of the plant was calculated for 1.2 million tons of cement per year.
