Gazakh Cement Plant, one of the major building materials manufacturers of Azerbaijan, increased its production by 10 percent in the past three months, a source at the plant told Trend.
According to the source, it’s about the production of cement and clinker.
"In total, it’s planned to increase production of cement to 20 percent and clinker to 25-30 percent per year; increase the production capacity from 1 million to 1.3-1.5 million tons per year. The plant's products are exported abroad. Since the beginning of the year, the plant exported its goods to Georgia and Iran. In the second half of the year, exports to Qatar and Iraq are expected," the source said.
The source added that tentatively, the exports are scheduled for late May 2020.
Gazakh Cement Plant LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan. Along with cement, the plant also produces concrete and clinker.
