Gazakh Cement Plant LLC, large industrial enterprise in Azerbaijan, has maintained stable production volume figures, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, from January through April of this year, the company produced over 209,000 tons of cement, as well as about 273,000 tons of clinker.
The plant has installed new types of modern equipment in order to increase production capabilities.
“The enterprise’s current production volume is 1.2 million tons per year, and it is planned to bring this indicator to 1.5-1.6 million tons,” the source noted.
The source added that the clinker production increased by 10 percent in 2019 compared to 2018, and the volume of cement production exceeded 20 percent.
Gazakh Cement Plant LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan. Besides cement, the enterprise manufactures concrete and clinker.
