The officials of Uzbek Samarkand region reached an agreement to further strengthen diplomatic relations with China's Henan province, Trend reports citing Podrobno.uz.
This become known during the negotiations of Samarkand Region Mayor Erkinjon Turdimov and the official delegation of Henan Province of China chaired by Governor of Henan Yin Hong.
“The Uzbek and Chinese entrepreneurs, developing joint projects on fruit and vegetables processing, confectionery production, clothing production, leather processing, leather footwear sewing, production of construction materials, electrical appliances, construction of engineering and communication facilities, development of light industry and animal husbandry,” the message said.
A number of memorandums and agreements were signed during the videoconference. Erkinjon Turdimov and Yin Hong signed an agreement on establishing comprehensive friendly relations.
Moreover, Deputy Mayor for Investments of Samarkand Region, and Vice-Governor of the People's Council of Henan Province, signed a memorandum on establishing a comprehensive mechanism for comprehensive exchange and cooperation between Henan Province and Samarkand Region.
