Polyethylene was actively sold at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in August 2020, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.
In the first week of August, polyethylene became the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from Russia, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. In addition, in the same week, entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan purchased polyethylene for the domestic market of the country.
In the second week of last month, polyethylene was purchased by entrepreneurs from Russia, the US, the UAE, Oman, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. Also, Turkmen businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene manufactured by Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern for the domestic market.
During the auction in the third week of August, businessmen from Russia, Turkey and Afghanistan bought high-density polyethylene, while entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan purchased high-density polyethylene for the domestic market of the country.
In the last week of June, high-density polyethylene was also purchased by entrepreneurs from the UAE.
As reported, polyethylene was also actively sold at State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in July 2020.
