Iran's mine and industry companies to invest in construction projects

The country's construction sector can improve by the participation of development companies and industrial and mine companies said the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade.

"The plan was done by the participation of Chadormalu and Golgohar mining and industrial companies alongside Sarcheshmeh Copper Company," said Alireza Razm Hosseini, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The first phase of water transfer from the Persian Gulf to Sirjan district at South Khorasan Province is a mega project and unique plan in the Middle East. The project inaugurated on Thursday without public financing and it is expected that industrial and development companies in the country would invest in building it," he said.

"The credit for the water transfer project was provided by bank resources and industrial and mine companies. A total of 194 domestic companies participated in the project in 15 provinces while 8,000 people were daily active on it," he added.

Hosseini went on to say that the project can provide sustainable water for drinking and industrial consumption and the country would save 180 million cubic meters of clean water. The water transfer plan was operated by the cooperation of various sections including the Energy Ministry, Agriculture Ministry, Department of Environment, the National Development Fund, Members of parliament, and regional officials.

"Water transfer from the sea to industrial cities and auto industry is very economic and the Energy Ministry should encourage these plans in all provinces," he said.

According to him transferring water from Chabahar to South Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan, Sistan, and Baluchistan provinces has started and mines are the shareowners of the project, 150 hectares of land was assigned to this project in Chabahar.
