The Polymetal company, one of the leaders in the extraction of precious metals with assets in Russia and Kazakhstan, plans to start exploration work in a number of areas in the regions of Kazakhstan, the company told Trend.
The company is currently exploring two areas in North Kazakhstan in cooperation with Kazgeology JSC.
On November 9, 2020, Polymetal International PLC announced a 25-percent increase in ore reserves at the Kyzyl deposit in Kazakhstan to 10.3 million ounces of gold after an initial estimate of East Bakyrchik's reserves at 2.2 million ounces of gold.
As reported, the company also plans to start exploration work in a number of areas in other regions of Kazakhstan.
