Iran’s IRICA talks about Iran’s trade turnover via Fereidoonkenar customs

Iran's trade turnover through the Fereidoonkenar customs in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) amounted to 177,000 tons worth $53.6 million in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

A total of 17,000 tons of goods worth $2.81 million were exported through Iran's Fereidoonkenar customs over the last Iranian year. The exported goods were mainly furniture, stabilizers, washing powder, antifreeze, salt, raisins, potatoes and etc. These goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Qatar, Pakistan, Italy, Kuwait, Russia, Afghanistan and other countries.

In addition, Iran imported 160,000 tons of goods worth $50.8 million through the Fereidoonkenar customs last Iranian year. The imported goods were corn feed, barley, electric convectors, panels, polycarbonate and so on. These goods were imported from a number of countries, including Iraq, Russia and the UAE.

Reportedly, Iran's total foreign trade turnover amounted to about 146 million tons worth $73 billion in the last Iranian year. During this period, Iran exported 112 million tons of goods worth $34.5 billion and imported 33.4 million tons worth $38.4 billion.
