Turkey’s activity on Turkmen commodity and raw materials exchange in March 2021

Turkey was an active participant in the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in March this year, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s exchange.

During the first week of March, entrepreneurs from Turkey purchased diesel fuel and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan, as well as cotton yarn in foreign currency.

During the first week of March, the transactions with the participation of Turkish entrepreneurs were also conducted in Turkmen manat. Thus, businessmen from Turkey bought cotton yarn in Turkmen manat.

During the second week of March, Turkish businessmen bought base oil, polypropylene, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, oil road bitumen and aviation kerosene from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries on Turkmen exchange in foreign currency.

Gasoline, aviation kerosene, oil bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as polyethylene, hydrotreated diesel fuel, colorless sheet glass, smooth-painted and jacquard terry products and cotton yarn were purchased by Turkish businessmen in foreign currency during trading on the exchange in the third week of March.

As for the last week of March, there was no information about the transactions of Turkish entrepreneurs.

Turkey was an active participant of the Turkmenistan Stock Exchange in February.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
