Exports via customs of Iran's Kerman Province grow

The exports through customs of the Kerman Province (southeastern Iran) increased by 306 percent in terms of value and 650 percent in terms of volume in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Director General of Kerman Province Customs Office Mohammad Reza Ghader said, Trend reports referring to the Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The director general emphasized that 27,300 tons of goods worth $57 million were exported through the customs of Iran's Kerman Province in the first month.

He added that the goods were mainly exported to China, India, Germany, Iraq, Turkey, the UAE, Italy and Russia.

Ghader said that pistachios worth about $34 million, copper products worth $18.7 million, petroleum products worth $2.30 million, ferromolybdenum worth $787,000 and pellets worth $480,000 were exported through the customs of the Kerman Province within the mentioned month.

“In addition, about $22.6 million worth of goods were imported through the customs of Kerman Province in the 1st month of the last Iranian year,” he noted.

So, $7 million worth of automotive spare parts, $3 million worth of modems and spare parts, $2.7 million worth of electrical and industrial supplies, $1.81 million worth of equipment and spare parts, and about $6.61 million worth of other goods were imported, according to the director general.

Ghader also added that these goods were imported from China, Britain, the UAE, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Germany, Spain and Italy.
