Modernization of agriculture is expected in Azerbaijan, Vusala Ahmadova, an expert on economic and legal issues told Trend on May 27.
Ahmadova noted that one of the priorities is to achieve sustainable rural development through digital transformation.
According to the expert, complex digital transformation can significantly accelerate the development of villages and prevent migration from rural areas to cities.
"New projects to achieve sustainable rural development through digital transformation will allow every farming family to generate the income they need from agriculture, without having to move from rural to urban areas to meet the necessary needs," she said.
'Smart village' projects can be implemented in cooperation with famous wineries of the world, such as Uzege-Pont-du-Gard, Cote-des-Bar, Champagne, Tinutul-Vinului, added Ahmadova.
