Kyrgyzstan has become the most active Central Asia trader during the exchange trading of Turkmenistan held within the framework of the Central Asian Economic Forum and the exhibition of goods of the countries of the region, Trend reports with reference to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
In particular, entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan concluded 11 deals worth about $6.6 million.
In addition to Kyrgyzstan, 4 contracts worth more than $1.1 million were signed by businessmen from Uzbekistan.
Representatives of other countries also took part in the exchange. Some 84 contracts worth more than $100.7 million were signed in the petrochemical sector with representatives of the UAE, the UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Russia and Turkey.
Meanwhile, in the construction sector, 4 transactions were concluded with Uzbek and Turkish businessmen for more than $609,000, while in the industrial sector - 19 transactions totaling more than $ 7.5 million and one transaction in the national currency – for 3.6 million Turkmen manat (over $1 million).
The Economic Forum of the countries of the Central Asian region began working in Turkmenistan’s Avaza National Tourist Zone within the framework of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia.
