Iran launches several facilities in Tehran Province

In total, 421 facilities in Iran’s Tehran Province in the field of landscaping, education, economy, sports and health will be put into operation within "Government Week" in Iran (August 24 through August 30, 2021), the Governor of Tehran Province Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandpey said in a press conference, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The governor stressed that a total of 70 trillion rials (about $1.67 billion) has been spent on these facilities.

Mohseni Bandpey added that after the launch of these facilities, 4,870 people will be employed.

“The unemployment rate in Tehran Province was 6.3 percent in the spring of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through June 21, 2021), which is 2.5 percent lower than the average unemployment rate in the country. While in the summer of 2018, the unemployment rate in Tehran province was above 13 percent,” he noted.
