Volume of transactions on Uzbek Commodity Exchange rises

The volume of transactions at the Uzbek Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzEX) from January through September of 2021 amounted to $5.7 billion, which is 1.6 times higher than in the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing UZEX.

During the reporting period, goods worth $4.9 billion were sold at the exchange trades which is 59.9 percent more than in same period of the last year.

The total volume of completed transactions on electronic public procurement amounted to $631.7 million and increased by almost 2.4 times compared to last year.

The fair trade, which represents the exchange's B2B e-commerce model, amounted to $126.3 million.

Through the Uzbek Commodity Exchange, goods worth $ 64.5 million were exported.

More than 105,600 license plates worth $20.6 million were sold through an online auction.

In quantitative terms, sales increased by 1.7 times, and in total - by 28.3 percent.

The cheapest license plate was sold for $42, and the most expensive one for $41,319.
