BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. Iran's private sector is interested in the development of agriculture sector in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Vice president of Cross Country Agriculture Association of Iran Ali Rezvanizadeh told Trend.
“Thus, there will be no need for Azerbaijan to import agricultural products,” Rezvanizadeh said.
He stressed that there are great opportunities for growing agricultural products in Azerbaijan.
According to Rezvanizadeh, more than 30 companies of Iran's private sector operate in Azerbaijan, engaged in cultivation of rice, grass, corn, wheat, barley, as well as fish farming, animal husbandry and others.
“Iran's private sector implements agricultural projects in various countries in order to generate income,” the official noted.
