BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. About 50 companies engaged in mining activities are officially registered in Kazakhstan, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Jandos Nurmaganbetov said on the sidelines of the plenary session of the Parliament, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.
He said that the order of companies, that are engaged in mining activities has been determined. Mining farms inform the Ministry of Digital Development about their activities.
According to Nurmaganbetov, Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry has information about what these companies are, including their existing capacity.
About 50 companies have notified Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development about their mining activities.
"Of the 150 companies that carried out this activity, a third of the companies, according to the information, stopped their activity, 50 companies are officially registered and the remaining are illegal mining companies. They have issues related to the delivery of equipment, how they use it, where they work,” Nurmaganbetov said.
