BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Iran and Germany’s non-oil trade value rose by 8.5 percent to about $1.72 billion in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2023), Trend reports.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) data shows that the non-oil trade volume between the two countries was 441,000 tons in 9 months.
Iran’s non-oil exports to Germany amounted to $119 million and 17,000 tons, which was 8.55 percent higher in value and 19.3 percent lower in volume than the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Iran’s non-oil imports from Germany reached $1.6 billion and 424,000 tons, which was 19.7 percent higher in value and 36.8 percent lower in volume than the same period last year.
The IRICA's latest data shows that Iran's total trade turnover (both oil and non-oil) increased by seven percent in nine months compared to the same period last year and surpassed $112 billion. Iran had a trade surplus of $15.5 billion in the first nine months of the year.
