BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Russia increased by 24.3 percent in value and 55.3 percent in volume during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil trade turnover between the two nations during the reporting period was around 4.85 million tons worth $2.23 billion.
In the same period of the previous Iranian year, non-oil commerce totaled 3.12 million tons, worth around $1.8 billion.
Iran and Russia's principal traded goods were petrochemical products, agricultural products, glassware, industrial products, raw silk, cotton, timber, and wood materials.
Iran's trade turnover with Russia during the tenth month (December 22, 2023 through January 20, 2024) was 321,000 tons worth $179 million.
Iran's non-oil commerce with the rest of the world was $94.8 billion in the first 10 months of this year, equivalent to approximately 146 million tons of commodities.
