PA Government Service Inc., part of the PA Consulting Group, announced tender in the framework of the pilot project, envisioned by the strategy of the heating sector problems solutions strategy in Azerbaijan, the company told Trend. The company plans to select contractor for boiler houses management and rendering services to consumers on supply of cold and warm water in the house N22 in Sharifov street of Sabunchi district, selected for the pilot project implementing.
The project goal is practical demonstration of implementation of recommendations supposed in the strategy, in particular, establishing efficient local system of heating supply, realization of measures for saving and expedient use of electrical power, introduction of new forms of management in the communal sector and etc. The boiler-house commissioning ceremony took place in December 2005.
The PA Consulting company produced the Heating strategy within the project Technical assistance to energy sector of Azerbaijan to the countrys government, funded by the USA International Development Agency (USAID). Transfer of the heating system to the private sector is supposed within the strategy.
