EBARA experts to get familiar with position of Azeri government related to preparation of technical-economical assessment for dust-processing plant

For a more accurate definition with Azerbaijani government in relation with the preparation of the technical-economical assessment for the construction of dust-processing plant, the mission of Japanese EBARA will pay a visit to Baku from July 31 to August 3, Trend reports with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

The choice of Azerbaijan government from the proposals from various firms of Japan, Canada, Germany, Russia, Austria, Switzerland and Czechia specialized in the sphere of dust-processing was based on EBARA.

The specialists of the company are going to concretize what Azerbaijani government desires to do in this sphere.

EBARA is one of the leading companies of the world. During the previous visit to Azerbaijan, the specialists of the company held an observation in dumps in Balakhani and negatively assessed the situation. They announced about their readiness within the project to hold a detailed investigation. The priorities of constructing a dust-processing plant are to get electric power, mineral fertilizer and building materials.

The Japanese experts consider to resolve the question in a complex manner, especially reclamate the territory used for dumps, cover and restore the land. For getting electric power, it needs to define the composition of the dust. According to calculation of EBRD, 150 mVt electric powers may be obtained by burning 600 tones of dusts a year. However, the government didnt agree with these calculations.

The project is estimated at 350 mln euros and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development offers to allocated 50 mln euros.
