Azerbaijan State Investment Company JSC is considering the possibility of co-operating with the international organizations (European Union TACIS and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). At present, the decision of how this co-operation can be directed is being formulated, the Executive Director of the State Investment Company Anar Akhundov told Trend.
Since its creation in March 2006, the Company has received operative assistance from the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD). According to Akhundov, the consultant, attracted through the EBRD grant, has prepared a report on the recommendations regarding the creation and activities of Azerbaijan Investment Company. The report has been forwarded to the members of the Supervisory Council of the Company for their consideration.
