an international seminar organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and State Marine Administration of Azerbaijan (SMA), is held in Baku on 1 November, Trend reports.
The seminar brings together representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan SMA has close relations with the International Marine Organization (IMO). In 2007, the IMO plans to organize a seminar, in co-operation with Azerbaijan SMA, entitled Co-operation in preventing oil pollution and notification about pollution targeted at Caspian countries.
Within the TACIS and TRASECA programs, SMA has organized a number of seminars and courses for seamen of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
