GDP Increase in Azerbaijan over 11 months of 2006

January-November 2006, the Gross Domestic Product of Azerbaijan increased by 34.4% as compared to last year.

According to the State Statistics Committee, as of December 1, the index of GDP made up 16,329.4mln manats, Trend reports. The volume of GDP per capita increased by 32.9%, and made up 1,953,2 AZN ($2181.4) per capita.

The share of production in GDP of the country had increased by 44.6% and made up 70.5% (11,504.5mln manats). In the services sphere the extra cost has increased by 16.3% as compared to the last year. The special weight of GDP decreased from 27.3% to 22.9%.

The net taxes from production and the import made up 6.6% of the GDP. Over this period the industrial output made up 58% (9,464,9mln manats) of the total GDP, the agriculture, hunting sector, and forestry had produced extra cost at the rate of 821.8mln manats (5%), the construction sector 1,217.8mln manats (7.5%), the transportation sector 1031mln manats (6.3%), the communications sector 308.2mln manats (1.9%), the wholesale and retail trade, the car sphere, and the personal services 901.1mln manats (5.5%), the restaurant and hotel sphere 118.9mln manats (0.7%), the rendering of social and other services - 1,392,8mln manats (8.5%).
