( Autoinsidernews ) - Mercedes-Benz announced that it has released a new sports package for its SL-Class. The sports package offers exclusive details that provide a bit of extra flair for its luxury roadster.
Outside, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class sports package features a newly designed set of 19-inch, twin-spoke wheels and dark-tinted taillamps as the only exterior enhancements. Inside, the sports package consists of silver-colored contrast stitchingon the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, gear shift, armrest, and doors; perforated leather on the steering wheel and shifter; and new aluminium trim pieces.
Finally, the sports package offers a new air filter for the SL 350, which delivers a richer sporty sound, and the 7G-TRONIC paddle-shifted automatic for that "sports car sensation".
The sports package is only available on the SL 350 or SL 500 with black leather. The package adds an extra 2,975 Euros.
