Azerbaijan, Ganja / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / Per Stankin, the German Ambassador to Azerbaijan, stated during the Germany-Azerbaijan Business forum held in Ganja on 23 May that the main purpose of the German Government is to develop agriculture and tourism in the Azerbaijani regions as well as in Ganja.
The ambassador has noted that they intend to realize projects to teach the German language in Azerbaijani schools. The German businessmen are interested in developing the film production and cinemas in Ganja. "There is a large cinema theater in Ganja, which has not been in use for 14 years. We will put forward to Azerbaijan our proposals on this project," the ambassador said.
Sixteen businessmen from Germany have attended the forum.
