Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / Mahmud Mammadkuliyev, the Deputy Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, has stated that the summit of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation BSEC will be held in Turkey at the end of June, due to the 15th Anniversary of BSEC. Currently, the preparations of the meeting of the heads of BSEC countries are being held.

Discussed at the summit will be issues concerning the function of organizations and the possible changes to increase the effectiveness of the organizations.

During the meeting held in Moscow in 2006, Azerbaijan demonstrated its initiative to form a special expert commission to inject changes in the charter of BSEC on modernizing the structure of the organization to submit to their heads of Sates during the summit. "Should the experts complete the proposals which then require the approval of the head of countries prior to the summit, they will be submitted to them," Mammadkuliyev added.

The development of BSEC is proposed by breaking down the obstacles and disadvantages in the Charter of BSEC and the settling of issues which hinder the development of the organization.

The representation of BSEC was transmitted to Serbia in April 2007.
