Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / From January-May 11,798 cars were imported into Azerbaijan, an increase of 3.9% from the same period of last year. According to information from the State Statistics Committee, the summary cost of cars imported in January-May amounted to $90.738 mln, this is an increase of 17% from 2006.
From January-May 3,739 trucks and vans were imported into Azerbaijan, an increase of 58.6% from the same period of last year. The summary cost of the imported trucks totalled $36 mln, an increase of 71.6% from the same period of last year.
