Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / A special working group of Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) will take part in the discussion of the draft law on insurance during the Autumn session of the Parliament, the Executive Director of the AIA, Hidayat Abdullayev, reported on 20 August.
AIA was registered at the Justice Ministry in May. The Supervisory Board of Association includes MSK, Azersigorta, Atesgah, Standart Insurance, and MBask insurance companies.
"The decision to establish a working group to participate in discussions was taken at the last meeting of the association on 16 August," he said.
Abdullayev noted that the new draft law was the main topic of discussion at the meeting of insurers. The insurers decided to develop their suggestions on supplements to the draft law by the end of August.
There are 29 insuring companies functioning in Azerbaijan.
