Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Azerbaijan takes the lead amongst the CIS countries for the number of tourists touring Georgia.
The Tourism and Resorts Department of the Georgian Ministry of Economic Development, said that over the last 6 months of 2007, a total of 121,965 Azerbaijani citizens have toured Georgia for tourism purposes.
In this period 260,214 tourists toured Georgia from CIS countries and exceeded last year's indicator by 37%.
