Kazakhstan, Astana, 25 January / corr. Trend K. Konirova/ The US will further develop and strengthen its strategic partnership with Kazakhstan in power engineering, Steven Mann, the coordinator on the power engineering diplomacy of the State Department of US in Eurasia said.
During his visit to Astana he met with Kanat Saudabaev, the secretary of state, Marat Tajin, the minister of foreign affairs, Sauat Minbaev, and the minister of power engineering and natural recourses.
"During the visit I expressed my admiration with the great achievements of Kazakhstan in power engineering. Moreover, I asked the Kazakhstani officials how US can contribute to their country in power engineering issues" Mann said.
"I plan to get all information from them on the latest changes and new plans of development, as I was not here for a long time," he said.
