Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 February /corr. Trend N.Kirskhalia / There has never been a problem with the Azerbaijani gas supply to Georgia and I don't foresee a problem in the future, Energy Minister of Georgia, Alexander Hetaguri, reported to Trend Special Correspondent.

He made a two-day visit to Baku and held talks with Azerbaijan's Minister of Industry and Energy, Natig Aliyev, regarding gas supply by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, produced at the expense of its own funds. Discussions were held on the gas price which may amount to $180-190 per thous. cu.m.

"The price of supplied gas has not been confirmed as yet. It is still a topic for discussion," Hetaguri said, stating that the talks may be concluded by March.

"Debates are going on long-term contracts and it is impractical to hurry this," he said.
